Located in the extrem West of North Africa, the kingdom of Morocco is an exotic and authentic destination with striking aspects of modernity.Being a gateway to Africa, Morocco teems with a wonder diversity in terms of people, landscape, costumes, cuisine and music. Its two coastal lines, two massive chains of mountains, Sahara dunes, ancient cities and historical monument tell us about the Berbers, the Phonecians, the Jews, the Romans and Arabs who contributed to what Morcco is now. Once turned into a French and Spanish protectorate till mid 1950’s , Morocco’s major cities inherited colonial style quarters erected on the opposite side from the ramparts of the ancient Medinas where traditional life style is stil being practiced between the serpentine alleyways , in Souqs , and behind the beautifully studded gates of expensive traditional houses known as Riads.
